Website
The new PSGC website has been up for a while now and has been getting rave reviews. Lawrence Matthews has done an excellent job. If you haven’t had the chance to check it out yet, you should. I’ll bet that you will be pleasantly surprised. Lawrence welcomes any suggestions you may have.

The refurbishment of the prop house on Bay 2 is nearing completion. On the first day of construction, the club volunteers met at 0730. Dressed in T-Shirts and shorts for a forecast 90 degree day, you can imagine their surprise at the cold wind and rain that lasted until the afternoon! Completion is scheduled for this week, barring excessive casualties… J
Women of Higher Caliber
Over the last two years, I have had the pleasure of training the members of the group, I highly recommend this organization and they are all members of the Palm Springs Gun Club as well. They are currently welcoming new members. From their website at www.womenofhighercaliber.com
“Women of Higher Caliber (WOHC) is a social club comprised of women who enjoy shooting together. WOHC encourages, educates and trains members in the safe use of firearms and provides frequent opportunities for members to participate in a variety of safe shooting and shooting-related activities of both a self-defense and sporting character so that members can maintain and improve their proficiency…The club hosts frequent social events designed to promote fellowship, dialogue and information exchange among members..”

Membership
In the first four months of this year, we have added 55 new members to the PSGC. In addition, a new Police Agency (DHS) is in the process of joining as well. With the unfortunate closure of the Academy Indoor Range, the Indio PD is rejoining the club.
